Explore the facilities of the Philippine Genome Center Visayas and learn how genomics services, research, and sequencing workflows are conducted within the center through an assisted institutional tour.
Tour Information
- Tours are open to schools, universities, institutions, and partner organizations interested in genomics, biotechnology, and laboratory operations.
- All tours must be scheduled at least two (2) weeks in advance.

Student Internship
Undergraduate Student Internship
Gain hands-on exposure to genomics research, laboratory operations, and scientific workflows through the Philippine Genome Center Visayas Student Internship Program.
The program is designed to provide students with practical experience in applying academic knowledge within a professional research environment. It emphasizes knowledge sharing, laboratory immersion, operational training, and career development in the fields of genomics, biotechnology, and related sciences.
The program aims to prepare students for future careers in research, laboratory science, and genomics-driven industries through meaningful experiential learning and professional exposure.
Internship Application
PGC Visayas annually hosts undergraduate student interns from June to August.
Interested applicants are encouraged to stay updated through the official social media pages of Philippine Genome Center Visayas for the official Call for Interns, which is typically announced from February to March each year.
