The Philippine Genome Center Visayas Satellite Facility would like to invite you to an Open Seminar by Dr. Jean-François Flot on April 10, 2019 at the GCEB Training Rooms 1&2. Dr. Flot will give two lectures entitled,”Molecular delimitation of species using haplowebs and conspecificity matrices: Examples from amphipods, corals and plants” and “Assembling genomes into complete chromosomes using Bwise and chromosome conformation capture”.

Dr. Flot belongs to the Evolutionary Biology and Ecology unit of Free University of Brussels. His research interests are on molecular approaches to species delimitation, molecular systematics, genome assembly, experimental evolution, genome evolution and bioinformatics.
